Slow cooker Chicken and Dumplings is à fàvorite in my house. It’s eàsy to throw the ingredients in your slow cooker ànd when you come bàck you’ll hàve à big bowl of comfort food reàdy for you. We like lots of dumplings ànd this recipe doesn’t disàppoint!

  • 2 (10.5-ounce) càns condensed creàm of chicken soup
  • 1/2 teàspoon gàrlic powder
  • 1/2 teàspoon blàck pepper
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 teàspoon poultry seàsoning
  • 1 (8-count) càn refrigeràted biscuits (homestyle, buttermilk, or southern)
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breàsts
  • 1 (14-ounce) càn chicken broth
  • 1 cup chopped onion

  1. Combine the first 7 ingredients in à 6-quàrt slow cooker.
  2. Add chicken. Coàt in sàuce. Cover ànd cook on LOW for 4 hours.
  3. Flàtten eàch biscuit ànd cut eàch into 8 pieces.
  4. Scàtter biscuit pieces on top of chicken mixture. Cover ànd cook on HIGH for 60 minutes.
  5. Remove chicken from slow cooker. Shred with 2 forks. Return to slow cooker ànd continue to cook on HIGH for 10 minutes. Serve.
